The right pressure for the surface

“Pressure washing” gets used for everything, but high pressure is only right for hard surfaces. We use it on concrete, pavers, pool decks and similar flatwork. House walls, screens and roofs get a soft wash instead, because high pressure can damage them.

Equipment

We run commercial-grade rigs with hot-water capability, rotary surface cleaners for flatwork and wands for detail work. Hot water helps cut greasy residue that cold water tends to smear around. Surface cleaners give an even finish on large flat areas without stripes.

Pressure washing questions

What’s the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high water pressure to clean hard surfaces like concrete and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution for siding, stucco, screens and roofs, which high pressure can damage.

Do you use hot water?

Our rigs are hot-water capable. Hot water helps with greasy residue and grime; plain algae and dirt often come off without it.

Can you clean my pool deck while the pool is open?
